The Monday

Monday was a long day for Bob. He would wake up at six in the morning. He would shower and get dressed. Today he was all in white. That looked good on him. He was a white husky. He put on his big red coat. His coat was a Canada hockey coat. It said Canada on the back with a hockey player inside a maple leaf. On the front on the left side was a Canada flag with two hockey sticks behind it. He got his red backpack that he had taken with him when he claimed Mount Everest. He put the book for his book group into his bag plus his file folder. He went out and hit the street. He checked his mailbox at the end of the driveway. The mail had not come yet. He started walking down the road. About two hundred feet from the house he saw the mail truck drive past. That made him mad. It was too long to walk back. So he kept walking. He got to the soup kitchen it was called “The bread of life”. He sat down at a table. Women bring him a plate of food. It was some kind of meat and bread. She also gave him a glass of milk. He thanked her and shoveled down the food and drank the milk and got up and was on his way. He walked out. He felt good. It was a nice day out for the 1st of February. There where ten days till his twenty-six’s birthday. That made him feels good. He wondered if he should walk back up the hill to see if he got any birthday cards with money in them. But he did not want to do that. So he headed up to the state library to use the word processor computer to work on some homework for his Sunday group. He also worked on some short sci-fi stories he had rolling around in his head. He did that till about 1: 30 Pm. He went to the store and got himself a coke. He then walked to his book group. He did not like his book group much but he had to be there and it was the last one for a couple of weeks anyways. That lasted till 4:00 Pm. He sat around in the lobby for about 10 mins. Then it was time for his weekly one-on-one group. That was from about 4:30 PM to 5:01 PM. He walked home after that. When he got home he checked his mail. He got a card from his dad with a twenty-dollar bill in the card. Bob jumped for joy! Bob went and watched TV till midnight then went to bed. The end.
